My name Kimberly and I am the baker behind Dash of Happiness. I have two beautiful babies that originally inspired me to start baking. I wanted so badly to make my daughters first birthday cake and ever since I have been hooked. I have come a long way since then, and still love looking back on those first cakes, even if its just for a laugh.

There is nothing I enjoy more than baking cakes for the people I love, and seeing their face when it is decorated with something they love. I rarely use fondant, and even then it's only for small details, but never to cover a cake. When I first started baking just for family and friends no one wanted fondant so I honed my buttercream skills and fell in love with the challenge and deliciousness that insued. I specialize in celebration cakes and love to make new and fun designs with buttercream or candies. Unfortunately I currently do not do large wedding cakes and tastings.
