Getting the cake you love:
Show me what inspires the cake design you love, whether its a picture of another cake, an invitation, or a theme, I would love to create something wonderful for you. Please remember that I will do my best to match any colors you would like but I CANNOT guarantee that the colors will match perfectly as they are mixed as best as possible. If you want to make sure a color matches as close as possible you can bring me an actual color swatch or invitation that you are trying to recreate.
If you would like fresh flowers on your cake I do not insert them directly into the cake. Most flowers are not okay to eat and even those that are, normally have pesticides or bacteria on them. You can bring flower picks to be inserted into the cake, or I can get them and include the price in the quote. If you want flowers just on the top of the cake I can insert them into a foam topper that gets set on the cake with a cake board in between it and the cake. There is also the option of beautiful silk flowers that you can bring and can be added to a cake and of course buttercream flowers are always a wonderful option.
Please remember that buttercream and many fillings like mousse do not do well in high temperatures so they should not sit in the sun, please make sure, even if the cake is inside, it is not sitting directly in the sun and if it is outside, keep it in the fridge until it is almost time to serve. There is a non-refundable deposit that will need to be collected when you reserve your date and that is also when I will get the details of the cake, any changes to the cake need to be made no later than a month before the cake pick up. The rest of the payment is due a week before the pick up date.
